238: the bank code, the same for every branch of Bassein Catholic Co-operative Bank in cheque clearing.

The MICR is printed in magnetic ink at the bottom of every cheque leaf, between the cheque number and your account ID. Before you deposit or write a cheque
Check that the MICR on the cheque matches the branch printed at the top of the leaf.
