Information we collect
We do not run accounts or forms that collect personal information. When you visit, our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Searches you type are processed in your browser and in our API to return results; we do not link them to you.
Settings stored on your device
The site saves a few preferences in your browser's local storage so they persist between visits: theme (light, dark or black and white), language, design, recent searches, and branches you saved or viewed. They stay on your device, are not sent to us, and you can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com). You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown.
Analytics
We do not currently use analytics or tracking tools beyond the advertising described above. If we add them, we will update this page first.
How we use and share data
- To deliver and secure the site (Cloudflare).
- To show ads (Google AdSense and its partners, as described above).
- We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it except as needed for these purposes or when required by law.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws you may ask what personal data we hold about you and ask for it to be corrected or erased. Because we do not collect personal data directly, there is usually nothing to return, but you can write to contact@codein.co.in.
Children
The site is a general reference tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes and contact
We will post any changes to this policy on this page with a new date. Questions: contact@codein.co.in.
